PRODUCTION SUPPORT
We work closely with farmers and their organizations to ensure top-quality beans are grown, harvested and processed sustainably. Our specialty processing techniques and coffee profiling ensure that each bean is roasted to perfection, bringing out the unique flavors and aromas of each region.
COFFEE MARKETING
Marketing is key to the success of coƯee farmers’ eƯorts. Our team of experts works tirelessly to ensure that each grower's coƯee is given visibility and is marketed strategically based on its profile, with each unique coƯee profile matched with buyers' requirements.
Single-origin branding and transparent coƯee contracting services provide our buyer-clients’ with the guarantee and confidence that their specifications are met consistently. The rigorous pre-shipment sampling to reconfirm batch profile integrity is our hallmark.
Ours is an integrated marketing approach starting with enabling farmers towards quality production, processing and output, through to buyers’ coƯee origin tours to gain enduring alignment between the producers and the buyers.
EXPORTS AND LOGITISTICS
After the growers’ contract with foreign buyers through our direct trade services, we handle pre-shipment logistics including inter-warehouse transfers, bulking & packaging, labelling, fumigation, sampling, export documentation, customs, phytosanitary inspections & certifications, export permits and requisite quality assurance processes.
Additionally, we work with freight forwarders and shipping companies to arrange the coffee transport ensuring handling integrity to preserve the coffee’s quality and freshness. Our job is only deemed complete when the buyer receives their shipment on-time-in-full.
TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING
Capacity building of the coffee growers in the end-to-end coffee production value chain is key to the growth of the coffee industry in Kenya. Our training programs provide farmers with the skills and knowledge they need to produce top-quality coffee, while our capacity-building initiatives ensure that they have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
Regarding specialty coffee processing, trading, and exports, we have capacity building packages for the growers towards enhancing their bargaining power and resulting financial empowerment.
In keeping with global standards for environmental, social and economic sustainability, we offer training and support to farmers to build ESG capacity and attain Rain Forest Alliance certification.
